Meet Our Staff

Jonathan earned his Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida and then went on to earn certification as a Family Advance Nurse Practitioner in April 2011. The year he graduated, he wrote a thesis paper on obesity in adolescents. With this research, he helped to develop the obesity protocol in the James A Haley VA, which guides the nursing staff in the proper education, management, safety, and care for the obese and morbidly obese patient. He uses a holistic approach to medicine and believes in an individualized plan of care to address each patient’s needs.

In addition, he completed four years as a hospitalist at Memorial Health Care and has worked as a primary care ARNP for an additional 6.5 years. His experience includes working in a primary care office, nursing homes, and as a home health care practitioner. Regardless of the setting, he continues to integrate his holistic approach with evidence-based care when managing his patients and their intricate problems. His passion for medicine drives his aspiration to strive for excellence in everything that he accomplishes.
