Balancing Hormones – the natural way

Our hormones regulate every bodily function, from the regulation of metabolism and cognitive function to appetite and weight maintenance.

When our hormones are not balanced, then our body systems do not function properly.

There are several tips you can follow in order to achieve hormonal balance the safe and natural way and to follow a healthy lifestyle.

First, it is important to exercise regularly, as excess weight is bad for many of your hormones and is a sign that you may have too much insulin.

Second, avoid smoking or excessive alcohol consumption as they interfere with the sex hormones and lead to premature aging.

Third, make sure that you are getting enough sleep, as a lack of sleep shuts down the production of Human Growth Hormone (the hormone that keeps you young and fit)and can also impair the production of leptin (the hormone that controls your hunger).

Lastly, (but certainly not least) have sex regularly! Research indicates that people who have sex regularly have increased sex hormone levels, have improved immunity, feel happier, and live longer.
