Suffering from Andropause, the male manopause?

The medical community once believed that our bodies' hormone levels have decreased because we have aged. Now, it has become clear that our bodies age because hormone levels decrease over time. By replacing the body's natural hormones to achieve the balanced levels we had in our youth, physicians have been able to turn back the clock on the aging process. Helping patients prevent age-related illnesses, reverse biological age, extend life expectancy, and significantly improve the quality of ensuing years is what has been accomplished through natural hormone replacement therapy. Both men and women are subject to these symptoms. In females it's known as menopause and in males it is known as andropause.

Men do not have a clear-cut signpost marking this transition as decreased testosterone drops every decade starting at age 25 and body changes occur very gradually. Studies show that this decline in testosterone can actually put one at risk for other health problems such as heart disease and weak bones.

If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, you may have an imbalance of hormones:

  • Fatigue
  • Loss of Muscle Strength
  • Reduced Libido
  • Osteoporosis
  • Heart Disease
  • Insomnia
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Depression
  • Reduced Cognitive Function
  • Poor well being

If you are experiencing one or more of these symptoms, you may have reduced testosterone levels. With our saliva tests and on-staff physicians, you will learn within two weeks the state of your hormones. These symptoms can be reduced or eliminated when testosterone levels are replaced or restored back to natural physiologic levels.

Our medical team will prescribe a customized hormone balancing program, along with supporting you in an exercise and proper nutrition program. Natural hormonal replacement has been shown to significantly improve sexual performance, libido, energy, mood, brain function, muscle strength and tone, bone density, and an overall sense of well being with a re-found sense of confidence.

Our integrative approach will help you to achieve and maintain an energetic and healthier state of well-being.

How is Testosterone Administered?

Testosterone can be administered in creams, gels, injections, sublingual tablets and patches. This will be dependent on whichever option the doctor and you decide will work best for your lifestyle. Testosterone administration can be applied daily or weekly.

How do I get started?

Call to schedule your free consultation to learn more about bio-identical hormone therapy and whether it's right for you. If it's right for you, you will take a blood test and take home a 24-hour saliva test. Once we get the results of the saliva test, the doctor will interpret the test, meet with you and discuss the course of treatment.

What if I don't feel well after starting the program?

It may take up to three months to begin seeing and feeling the effects of the hormone therapy. You will be monitored and seen monthly by the doctor, so if you are having any adverse affects, the doctor can adjust the compound at that time. However, if you feel you need to see the doctor before your scheduled visit, you may call and make an appointment immediately.
